My mother once remarked to the January Fairy of her ability to go sleeveless in any weather.

At the time, I didn’t have that ability.  But as I have become “a woman of a certain age,” it has become much less of an option.

Now, don’t let that sound like a complaint.  I actually love it!  It makes me feel a few things that I haven’t felt in a while.  No need to go into that detail…I’m pretty sure you know what those things are by now.

More than anything, it makes it so much easier to feel the silliness when it’s draped right over me.  My shoulders appreciate it the most these days.

I think it only makes sense if you listen to the archives.  So do it.
